This year I wanted to make Spring Break...fun.
Usually I just let the kids play and fly by they
seat of my pants when it comes to plans.
But this time I took the bull by the horns
and PLANNED activities for us.
We did everything to loads of play dates,
going to the movies,
playing at the "Harry Potter Park",
explored the Zoo and saw the new
Koala Bear exhibit.
And finally we spent 2 hours at our
favorite jump house!
For $5 per kid they can expel
all of their energy in an air conditioned
warehouse full of huge blow up
jump house, slides and obstacle courses.
And from the enormous grins on their faces,
I'd say they had a marvelous time!
Group Hug
Keira catches some air!
Sydney gives Emma a power jump
Dan finds the kid corner of toys.
But...EW...just say no to germs!
Dan loved these little pads on the ground
and kept jumping on them like they
were his own little trampolines!
Mr. Explorer would only
venture to the front of the steps
into the cave like jump rooms.
This is Dan's "worried" face.
Ben is ecstatic!!
He always had to find new body contortion
of sliding down the slides.
Keira finally got over her fear of heights
with a little help from her sisters
and started to enjoy herself too!
Super fast!
Watch me mom!
Dan adventured into the obstacle course
with help from his siblings.
Emma is truly in her element!
I was surprised at how great Sydney's form
is when I found her playing some basketball.
Maybe Larry has a new sport to coach!
Dan wanted to explore up the ladder,
but couldn't do it himself.
So his family came to the rescue.
Heaven forbid we tell him NO!
Step 1: Emma & Ben climb up to help from above.
Step 2: Sydney pushed Dan up the ladder
while Emma pulls from the top.
Step 3: Use all your muscles to pull and push
a very chubby brother.
Step 4: Flip Dan around to prepare him
for a large slide. Then argue about who gets to
slide down with him.
Step 5: Yell at other siblings to move so you don't
run into them on the way down.
We had a wonderful, fun filled week!!
And I take full credit for it's success.
