Egg Hunt

After an early wake up call from the kids,
we set the loose on searching the house
for their hidden eggs.

So proud of the kids at being patient
and helping the younger kids find eggs too.

Then it's time to hunt around the house for their baskets full
of goodies.
That tricky Easter Bunny likes to hide EVERYTHING!!

Sydney's was in the oven, Keira's was in the bathroom,
Emma's was in the dryer, Dan's was in a footstool
and Ben's was in a kitchen cabinet.

Egg-tasctic Time

Our family loves the tradition of decorating hard-boiled eggs
for Easter.
Although this year we used craft paint instead.

Ben

Keira loves her chance to play
with a paint brush.

Emma makes a "mini me" egg.

So does Sydney.
But with an additional mustache.

My favorite eggs were the shrinky-dink
eggs!

And we always have to leave a note,
drink and carrots for the bunny.

Good Friday Holiday

BIG!
Yes, I have a big family.

"I'm taller then this penguin!"

"But I'm shorter then this penguin!"

All the "alive" penguins were
cleaning themselves and
NOT swimming near Dan.
He was sad!

My kids are obsessed with the "red" butt monkeys.
I keep reminding them they have a real name
called Mandrill's but it never sticks.

It's soooo embarrassing when the kids shout,
"MOM!  There's the red butt!"

Dan 2 1/2

Keira 4 1/2

Ben 6

Sydney 10 & Emma 8 1/2

We love our zoo passports!

We never forget to get a stamp inside them
when we visit!

Big sister always helps little brother!

We could watch the giraffe's for hours.

So cute!

Safari time.

We were lucky to watch many of the
animals be fed.

"I'm coming for you kid!"

"You look so yummy little boy!"

Ben loves the ugliest animals
on the planet.
The warthogs!

What's up with the long wiry hairs?

The zoo keeper let our kids take handful
of food from her bucket and throw
it into the warthogs pin to feed it.
Emma laumched it so hard it hit the warthog!
Oops!

Throw it Ben!

They they were in heaven watching the warthog
eat the food they gave him!

We even got to see these 2 lion brothers
perform.

They even stretched up on their back legs
and stood up against this fence.
They stood 8 ft tall!

Free Monorail rides!
We love the rest.

Me and my buddy!
Dan is finally potty trained!
This trip to the zoo was his first time
using a real potty and not his
plastic little one.
We were so proud of him for not having any accidents!

Storks

One more ride before we go home.

SPIN IT!!

Time to go home.

RS Birthday Party

With Rachel's calling at church she is in
charge of the activities for the women.
For march she helped organize and
performed in a contemporary rendition
of the 10 virgins!
