Gobble, Gobble It's Turkey Day

We are thankful for HOLIDAYS
and to be together as a family!!

Daddy and the kids whip up their favorite
dessert.

Everyone has to help,
if they want to eat our big feast.

It's 10am... time for the appetizers!!
Our family tradition?
Blue Cheese Ball

Dan loves it too!!

This year we tried something new.
White Chocolate Cream Cheese
stuffed Raspberries!
Yummy!

And not surprising...
but Dan likes those too!

Ever wonder how this boy can reach all
of these goodies on
the kitchen counter?

He improvises.
You can't keep food
out of this hungry boys mouth!

It's a free-for-all around the cheese ball.

One big happy family.

I think I take this same picture
of Larry cutting the meat with his
favorite electric knife
EVERY SINGLE YEAR.
It's tradition.

With dinner of ham, rolls, mashed potatoes,
white gravy, green bean casserole and
dessert....
we were STUFFED!!

The end.

Larry Turns 35

After sending out messages to all of our friends
to come out with us to celebrate Larry's
35th birthday,
we had a few takers that weren't afraid to try something new!!

We ate at the Gengis Grill (that we love).
None of our friends had tried it before
and were excited to be there for
their virgin experience.

Cari and Brian Webb

Natalie and Chad Simons

Andreya and Jeremy Weadon

We had a blast being weird and crazy.
And complete inappropriate.

Afterwards we met even more friends
for a movie.

Emma Celebrates Veteran's Day

Emma's school program for her 2nd grade class
was on Veteran's.
With songs about America and our Military.

Emma is in the back row on the far left-hand side.

Just below Emma is her friend Coda and
two to the right of her is her other friend Mason.

Such a beautiful girl!

Emma nervously waits her turn
to say her lines into the microphone.

Time for the pledge of allegiance!

Her favorite part of the night was having the
job of controlling the music.
Emma had to start and stop each song.
She loved the POWER!!

Congratulations Coda, Emma and Mason!
You did a great job.

Emma's Championship Game

With a whole afternoon of relaxing,
eating healthy foods, drinking water,
watching a movie and soaking in a bath tub
Emma was more the ready to play
the last game of the season.

Warming up with kicks on goal.
Dan thinks he is part of the team too.

Emma pulls her little shadow along with her.

But then Daddy puts an end to that little
escapade!

Ben spends most of his time
trying to wrestle Sydney and Keira.

Lookin' good Sydney!
(please note the scary, ominous clouds in the sky)

Dan isn't too sure about hanging
out at the soccer fields for a 3rd game
of the day.

By halftime the score was still 0-0.
During the 3rd quarter one of our
goal kicks bounced and hit the shoulder of
one of the other teams players and went in the goal.

Before the 4th quarter could start
a full storm had begun with lightning all over.
The game was called
and the other team declared the winner.

We all were bummed about the way
the game ended,
but we couldn't fight against mother nature!

Emma was excited to end the season
with our highest ranking yet!
2nd place!!

Coach Larry and Coach Chad were
so proud of these hardworking girls!

Emma waits in line
to receive her trophy.

Dad hands out the trophies.

Good job Emma!!!

We are so proud of her!!

Go BLITZ!!

Emma and Mommy

That is one big trophy!!

Coach Dad and Emma worked really
hard together all season.
Way to go guys!!

Ben's Fall Soccer Season

Balancing 2 soccer teams as the coach
is difficult.
Only because of the schedule.
Like for this last game of the season.
It is a make-up game from
a rainy weekend.
Thus it got put during the saturday
Emma's soccer team was playing
there finals.
And the worse thing happened.
Emma's game went into overtime
and made it impossible for Larry
to get over to Ben's game.

Thankfully one of the Dad's stepped up
and coached the team until Larry could get there 10
minutes late.

Since Ben's team is still young,
they don't participate in the end of the
season championship brackets.

And the Association doesn't keep track of the
scores.
But we know the boys won all their games
except 1!!
What a season!!

Ben has been working on his aggressiveness.
And has turned out to be pretty quick.

We are so proud of his improving skills!

We were shocked at how much faster he
has become this year.
He always seemed to be the first one
down the field to stop
a break-away!!

Ben even volunteered to be an
extra player during Emma's practices
when one was needed.

He has learned a lot by being a part
of an older team.

Ben's buddies,
Marcus and Hudson
cheer him on!

Ben tries hard to keep his feet on
the ground while he throws in the ball.

Ben and his teammate Jeremiah.

Random photo of busy-body Dan!
He has been better at staying near the stadium seats
while he wanders around with friends.

Ben runs off the field when it's time
for a substitution!

RUN!!!

Larry is a great coach.
He has really got the hang of it,
and is so good at pushing the boys.

All lined up at the end of the game
to show sportsmanship
to the other team!

Good job boys!!!
