Kids vs. Nature

For a brief moment in time Larry and I experienced a pleasant evening with the kids.

We had some major storms blow through town just as we were getting the kids ready for bed. And instead of trying to calm their fears of clapping thunder and bright bolts of lightning we opted to wait it out together.

So we all piled into our bed, opened the blinds and turned the lights down low (aka: the power was out).

Inevitably we were able to get some classical musical flowing through a radio and it ignited a spark in our kids imaginations.

Soon they were pretending that the lightning was a spotlight and the music was their orchestra, so they ran for props to assist them in their performance.

Larry and I were amazed at their creativity and the wonderful recital that we received. We had never seen such a sight to have 2 glorious creations from God in all it's wonder.
